Cloudraker Skybridge

This 130-meter suspension bridge with a transparent foundation that links the summit of Whistler Peak with the Raven’s Eye viewing platform on the West Ridge is Whistler Mountain’s newest attraction. The bridge, which opened in the summer of 2018, is reached by taking the Peak Empress chairlift to the summit of Whistler Mountain after hiking 15 minutes downhill from the Roundhouse Lodge. Peak to Peak Gondola

The second-longest free-span gondola in the world was constructed to connect the two main mountaintops in the area. It takes about 11 minutes to travel 4.4 km in a lofty, serene manner. You can see bears, skiers, crags, and forests along the way, especially if you catch one of the two glass-bottomed carriages. When the gondola was completed in 2008, Whistler and Blackcomb were effectively combined into a single enormous ski area, making it one of the largest in the world.

The Lil’wat and the Squamish, two very different First Nations people who have lived in this area for ages, are on display in this elegant, wood-beamed building.
